Speaking of Moms

posted by:

I found this funny Mom story and thought this was the perfect time to add it to my blog.  Get ready for a good laugh.

While in line at the bank one afternoon, my toddler decided to release some pent-up energy and ran amok. I was finally able to grab hold of her after receiving looks of disgust and annoyance from other patrons. I told her that if she did not start behaving “right now” she would be punished.

To my horror, she looked me in the eye and said in a voice just as threatening, “If you don’t let me go right now, I will tell Grandma that I saw you kissing Daddy’s pee-pee last night!”

The silence was deafening after this enlightening exchange. Even the tellers stopped what they were doing. I mustered up the last of my dignity and walked out of the bank with my daughter in tow. The last thing I heard as the door closed behind me, were screams of laughter.

A neighbors daughter

I have a neighbor that lives across the street from me.  She has the cutest baby girl you have ever laid eyes on with white curly hair and baby blue eyes.  She’s just a doll and her mother dresses her in the cutest baby girl clothes I have ever seen.  I had to ask her where she had gotten them so that I could perhaps purchase cool baby clothing for some friends of mine.

Would you believe she got them online?  I was really glad to hear that because I love shopping online anyway.  I checked out the site and found so many cool baby clothes that I was totally amazed.  They have boy clothes, girl clothes, costumes, rock and roll clothes and I mean the vintage kind too.  You just have to check the site out and I know you will be amazed at the different styles just like I was.  This is what she had on her daughter.  Don’t you just love this:

The night of April 1st

posted by:

I just got this joke and thought it was just too funny.  I had to share it with you.  I hope you find as much humor in it as I did.

Defense Attorney: Will you please state your age?

Little Old Lady: I am 86 years old.

Defense Attorney: Will you tell us, in your own words, what happened the night of April 1st?

Little Old Lady: There I was, sitting there in my swing on my front porch on a warm spring evening, when a young man comes creeping up on the porch and sat down beside me.

Defense Attorney: Did you know him?

Little Old Lady: No, but he sure was friendly..

Defense Attorney: What happened after he sat down?

Little Old Lady: He started to rub my thigh.

Defense Attorney: Did you stop him?

Little Old Lady: No, I didn’t stop him.

Defense Attorney: Why not?

Little Old Lady: It felt good. Nobody had done that since my Albert died some 30 years ago..

Defense Attorney: What happened next?

Little Old Lady: He began to rub my breasts.

Defense Attorney: Did you stop him then?

Little Old Lady: No, I did not stop him.

Defense Attorney: Why not?

Little Old Lady: His rubbing made me feel all alive and excited. I haven’t felt that good in years!

Defense Attorney: What happened next?

Little Old Lady: Well, by then, I was feeling so ‘spicy’ that I just laid down and told him ‘Take me, young man. Take me now!’

Defense Attorney: Did he take you?

Little Old Lady: Hell, no! He just yelled, ‘April Fool!’ And that’s when I shot him, the little bastard..

Lesson to this story?  Never mess with an old lady unless you mean business because she sure does HA HA HA!!!!

I love a beautiful kitchen

posted by:

I have a nice spacious kitchen but it needs that something extra to make it a beautiful kitchen.  I have lots of stemware and found the perfect thing to display them, a beautiful stemware rack.   They have a wide variety of glass racks to choose from too so I know I’ll find just the right one.   I love to see stemware hanging in their proper place.  It gives your kitchen that special touch I’m looking for.

If you don’t have a place to hang them, you can also get a wall stemware rack.   There is even a stemware wine rack where your wine bottles can be displayed too.  I don’t drink wine personally but always keep some on hand for my friends.  Now I just have to decide which one I want.  There are free standing ones too.  So many to choose from that I’m going to have a hard time deciding but once I do, I know it will be not only beautiful but also great quality.

What a wonderful tribute!!

You have got to see this video on youtube.  I have to admit, I cried through most of it and had to watch it over several times to be able to truly soak in what this amazing 12 year old girl had written for her father who is a Soldier.  She and her 16 year old sister are singing the song she wrote. I know her father is very proud as he should be. God bless this wonderful family.
