I was not planning to go out at all today, but I have a few friends that have small businesses and I wanted to show them my support for small business Saturday. I was saddened by how sparse the shopping crowds in their stores were. I made sure that the items that I was buying were made in the USA and I did buy a couple of things for some Christmas gifts, and wished them all the best of luck through the Holiday shopping season. The crowds were probably still in the big box chain stores, which worried me a little bit. I hope business picks up for my friends!
