I don’t know but I love interior design it seems.  You know, I just might have to check into some online classes into becoming an interior decorator and then I can keep searching for home furnishings so I can save the links in order to decorate someone’s home.   That sounds like something I really need to look into if not for a new career but just for myself.

First it was the Belguim furniture that she was head over heals after until that is, she found the lavishly lovely furniture from Spain.  Yeah, those were her words.  I told her that if she wanted 100% guaranteed furniture from either of them or Italy and Germany, then this is where she needs to shop.  Then I told her to go home and I would send her the link to the site we were looking at because I had to get up early for work.  I bet it will take her weeks to make up her mind.

BEIJING – THE worst drought to hit parts of north China in six decades has left nearly five million people short of water, while officials warn of another dry spell further south, state media reported on Sunday.

A total of 4.6 million people and 4.1 million head of livestock face difficulty accessing drinking water in the north, the Xinhua news agency reported, citing the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters.

The figure is up from 3.9 million people affected a week ago, according to earlier state media reports.

The drought, which has hit an area stretching from Inner Mongolia region in the north to Jilin province in the northeast, has lasted since late July, the agency said.

In Liaoning province, next to Jilin, the situation is the worst in 60 years, with half of all arable land having dried up, Central China Television reported earlier on its website.

Meanwhile, the risk of another drought is emerging in the provinces of Hubei and Hunan in central China, which have been hit by a combination of low rainfall and high temperatures, Xinhua said. — AFP

Isn’t that absolutely awful?  I feel so very sorry for those poor people and their animals.  That’s why I try to conserve as much water as I can with rain barrels and any other way I can.

Yeah they need a lot more than that but hopefully other business with find lockers for sale and purchase them for the school too.  I’m talking to my boss to see if we can donate some since we just got new wooden lockers ourselves.  We know where to get them from after all.  With all of the budget cuts in the school system, we all have to do what we can to help out our children so they can get the best education possible.  Well that’s my opinion anyway!!!  Hey I wonder if I could buy a locker unit from them just to put in my basement to hold stuff??

Rain water barrels come in all sorts of shapes and sizes so I’m sure you can find one that you like and will add to your home.  I have a plain one in my back yard and a really pretty one in the front at my downspout.  A lot more places are starting to have rain barrels for sale but I found the best selection online.  After all, I am sort of picky and don’t just want a barrel sitting there.

Custom address plaques and numbers really dress up the yard and your porch if that’s where you have to put yours.  It makes it a lot easier to find your house when guests are coming and just adds that something special to your porch or where ever.  I did have a couple of my neighbors ask where I got my home address plaques from since they liked mine better than what they were able to find too.  I gladly shared the information since that’s what neighbors do after all.

Lately I’ve been looking for housewares and home maintenance items.  You know before you know it winter will be here and there’s always some type of home maintenance that needs to be tackled.  But the one thing I love shopping online for is furniture.   I’m taking one room at a time and looking for just the right table, chair, or accent table for that room.  I do love online shopping.  Sometimes it’s just ‘window shopping’ but that’s okay too.

Would you believe that they will even tell you which web hosts are Green? They sure will, there’s a tab you can hit called ‘Green web hosting.’ I think that’s wonderful because more and more places are becoming more and more aware of our environment. It’s about time is all I have to say about that. We all need to be more conscious of our planet.

My mother lives out in the middle on absolutely nowhere and was sick and tired of trying to get on the Internet through her dial up service she used to have until I told her to check out Wildblue.  Of course she had a lot of  satellite Internet questions but those were easily answered for her on the Internet.  After checking into it more, she decided to check out some of the Wild Blue Packages and now she’s surfing the Internet and happy as a bug.  Not only does she save time with their service, but she also has saved her nerves too.  It’s totally aggravating when you get dropped like you can on dial up.  They also have high speed Internet which dial up just can’t offer.
