Looking for a new vacuum

I’m sure you hate vacuuming as much as I do. It’s about my least favorite chore out of all of the housework I have to do. Thank goodness my old vacuum died because now I’m looking to buy a robotic vacuum. I really expected for them to be more expensive than they are but I was pleasantly surprised when I found out they were around $150 depending on the model you get.

One of the best features about this is that I don’t have to stand there and push a vacuum back and forth, it does all of the work for me. The best place I found to get the best price was online of course. I find all sorts of bargains on great items there. I would love to meet the man or company that invented the robotic vacuum. I would give them a big hug and a kiss for it. Thanks Shop.com!

When money is tight!!

I know of a lot of people that have had to take jobs with less pay than they received before they were laid off just to have something coming in, something to hopefully survive with until something better comes along. Unfortunately, with cooler weather coming in now, a lot of people are in need of help with heating costs. Saving money is a must too now. If you’re lucky enough to set things up so your expenses aren’t as high, then you’re one of the lucky ones and these guys just might be able to help you learn how to do just that.

Still other people need help with payday loans to make it through the month. Luckily there are a lot of options with payday loans now too. I can’t think of anyone that hasn’t needed help from time to time when an unexpected expense arises. We all have them unfortunately. Then there are the holidays coming and a lot quicker than a lot of us would like. There are a lot of cheap presents you can find that will not only make others happy, but help you to spread the Christmas cheer in your home. Nothing makes most people feel better than seeing someone happy with what you have purchased for them but it doesn’t have to be expensive. Don’t forget that.

There’s something about shoes

You know how women are when it comes to shoes, well I’m no different. I love shoes. The best thing is when I can find what I need that not only looks great, but also saves me money. Just imagine finding the perfect pair of boots from Columbia and save money too. Oh that’s shoe heaven to me. Boots aren’t all you will find there either. In fact, just about any type of shoes you are looking for, you’ll probably find something you like here.

Shoes for women are not all they carry either, they also carry boots for men and shoes for them too. Not to mention, they also carry clothing and shoes for children. Columbia is one of my favorite brands when I’m looking for sporting type shoes like hiking boots or casual shoes that I can wear with my jeans. There’s nothing cuter than a little boy with hiking boots on with his overalls if you ask me.

Looking for business cards

A friend of mine is starting up a new business. She asked me for help with printing up business cards. There are a lot of printing companies around here but they are sort of expensive. When you are just starting out, you need to pinch pennies any way you can so there’s a better chance of your business making a profit as soon as possible instead of flopping. You know what I mean?

Well after doing a lot of searching for her, I found the perfect printing shop that will not only print up some great business cards, but won’t take her to the bank just to get them. Places like Kinko’s are great but at the same time, you really need to watch everything you spend and that’s why I suggested she check out this site online. She’ll save money on gas and still get quality printing just like she would locally. In fact, they can print up just about anything she needs like fliers, announcements for her opening and even anything else she can think of that might help her get off to a good start. I really wish her all the luck in the world and am glad I could help.

My grandparents are getting older

I have a hard time admitting that my grandparents are getting older, ya know. I still see them as I did as a child. One thing I’m very happy about is they’re redoing one of their bathrooms with one of those walk-in bathtubs. My grandfather is getting up in age and my grandmother has bad knees so it’s hard for both of them to step into their other tub.

There are several models of walk-in tubs for them to choose from too. I had no idea there were as many as there are but I was sure glad to see that. In fact, on that web site I found many links and resources for the elderly and disabled that I was totally unaware of. I guess things like that don’t get your attention unless you know of someone personally in need of resources like that. It’s a great service they provide for the elderly and disabled I think. I know I was glad to see them to help out my grandparents.

After the divorce…….

After a marriage you go on a honeymoon. Well after the divorce there should be a celebration too. Maybe a ‘freedom moon’. Well I know just where to go on my freedom moon. That to a really nice Myrtle Beach resort. I might even take a two week ‘freedom moon’ since we had a two week honeymoon. I can take in the shows, shop and kick up my heels. The only problem is deciding which one since there are so many Myrtle Beach resorts to choose from.

I really love the beach in the fall because their aren’t so many people down there and you can get tickets to just about any show you want to see too. It’s sometimes harder to get those tickets in the summer. Maybe I’ll just stay in one of the Myrtle Beach Hotels that are there. I’ll figure it all out as the time gets a little closer. I am so looking forward to my freedom moon!!!!

My darn sister

I love my sister dearly but she’s really got to make a choice on her own. You would think I was the older sister but I’m the baby in the family. She is having a heck of a time deciding which bedroom furniture to get. The problem is that she finds one she decides on and then keeps looking at other furniture for bedrooms. She loves the look of a platform bed and so do I but there are so very many styles and colors and other pieces to match them.

Part of the problem is she’s just discovered that she really loves modern furniture when she’s used to having other types. She just can’t nail down her taste totally yet but surely she will soon. I love helping her redecorate but how long has this been going on now? A couple of months at least. I can’t say I don’t understand because I had a bit of a hard time sticking to one too.

I have to have one of these!

Here I have racks for wine glasses and a wine rack in my kitchen and it suddenly dawned on me, I don’t have a proper wine opener. Well I just can’t have just any old cork screw. I want a Rogar estate wine opener. They make a statement like the rest of my kitchen does. You have got to see them. Rogar wine openers are as special as your own individuality.

I found them online by shear accident and boy and I glad I did too. I was searching for a champagne wine opener and that’s when I found them. I had no idea what-so-ever that anyone made such beautiful openers. Have you ever seen an estate wine opener? You really should check them out because they are beautiful. Rogar corkscrews make your wine taste more expensive simply with their beauty.

A family tradition maybe

My great-grandfather used to collect coins. He had a few old gold coins that my father now has. Because of that, my father wanted to buy gold coins as an investment just like my great-grandfather did. Everyone thinks of necklaces and things like that when you buy gold but there are a lot of different ways to buy gold.

Did you know that you can buy gold bullion? Well you can. With the economy in the mess it’s in and the way the stock market keeps going up and then back down, maybe you should think about how to buy bullion instead of playing the stock market. It’s a thought and not too bad of one it seems. I might check into how to I can buy gold coin myself, just one to start with anyway. I’ll try to buy one every so often and who knows, I just might be able to have quite a little stash for when I retire.

My grandmother went down to her beach house Monday as I was coming back. When she got there, she gave me a call and said that she was going to bust my rear end. I thought I had done something wrong and made her mad. That’s not what it was. She absolutely loved the things I had gotten for her kitchen.

She loves to watch the cooking shows on TV and always talks about how pretty their kitchens are and the things I got her were just what she had been wanting. She told me that I didn’t have to do that which I already knew. At any rate, I made her happy and that’s what I was trying to do. Mission accomplished.
