Thunderstorms Again

posted by:

This morning I was awakened by loud thunder and driving rain. We have had really strong storms coming through here for a couple of weeks now. I am not usually overly concerned about thunderstorms, but this one took out our electricity for several hours.

It is very challenging to wake up in the morning and not have the electricity to help you dress and have breakfast. But we’ll all manage to get through it. I just hope the power is back on when I get home tonight.

Quick Lunch

posted by:

Usually on Sundays I like to sleep in late and then have e cup of coffee and a doughnut or some kind of pastrie for a late breakfast while I read the Sunday newspaper. Except today there was no newspaper in my driveway when I got up. I guess someone stole it. So, my whole routine is in disarray.

I decided we should just skip breakfast and go out to buy a quick lunch, and then we can spend a couple hours at the Lake. That will be a nice change and the weather is perfect for working on my tan.

Groundhog Union

posted by:

Everyone is making these groundhogs work today. For some of them their living conditions are not good. And they are being made to go outside to work, regardless of the weather. I think the groundhogs should unionize. Thy have great bargaining power – we are unable to have Spring without them.

Warmer Weather

Sure do hope that Winter has finished with us by now. If the groundhog was right, we will have an early Spring. So now that it is March, I happy to note that the weather has gotten much warmer and there hasn’t even been much rain. I love the idea of an early Spring!

I need to get out more

posted by:

With the weather changing and all of the rain we have had lately, I really need to get out more.  I have been stuck in this house by my own wishes unfortunately, and now I need to get my rear end out into the world again.  Now I just have to find out where to go and maybe with who or is it whom?  I don’t know but I have to get out.  I know I’ll feel a lot better too.
